Greenwich Concours de Sport

Greenwich Concours de Sport

Greenwich, Connecticut is known for its astounding architecture and coastal charm. But each spring this exclusive zip code plays host to the Concours de Sport, welcoming hundreds of the most important sports cars in history to its scenic landscape. Our friends at DOUBLETHINK, an NYC based digital marketing agency and social media powerhouse, packed their camera kit and captured every detail of this year’s Greenwich Concours de Sport for our viewing pleasure.

Notable cars on display in 2024 included the very first Porsche 910 produced by the factory in 1966, which was piloted by racing legends Hans Hermann, Rolf Stommelen, and future F1 world champion Niki Lauda. The car is now licensed for street use and guaranteed to provide a thrilling commute to work.

On the first walk through of the event, a particular row of Porsche 356 models caught our attention immediately. Here we discovered not one, but six cars flaunting the renowned Type 547 Four-Cam engine developed by Ernst Fuhrmann. These cars are the pinnacle of Porsche 356 models with a complex, high-revving engine featuring dual-overhead cams and a sophisticated valve-train which was significantly ahead of its time. These cars are exceedingly rare and we took a moment to appreciate seeing so many mint examples in one place.
